I'm in bed now and am tired. Got some stuff done including gaining progress on the future deck in our backyard. Now I'm bazosted. Good night.

I'm going blank. So many things happened today. Or didn't.
This may sound corny, but bear with me. These are just my observations.
-When I was asked on Tuesday to play a rhythm in band, I couldn't quite get it down. I looked later at the accents above it though and quickly was able to get it down yesterday, after band. Pete (this is a guy that Beis actually took lessons from and is coming down to our school to help us out) warmed up with just me. I got the feeling Mr. K was doing this because he thought the sound wouldn't change since Tuesday, even though I had practiced, by Pete's surprised voice on how well I was able to do it and by the expression I got from Mr. K when he heard it. And Mr. K said I did excellent on the sight reading selection today since I was the only trumpet while the other two were working with Pete.
-Was actually asked by Pete if I was interested in taking lessons from him, which is curious because I've heard from multiple people that he didn't like working with young people because they were not quite as mature as high school students. This was startling. I felt quite proud.
-Got the Cornell Notes that I was supposed to get on Tuesday, but had to leave early for our Track Meet. Rushed to finish them during lunch. Mr. Eklund was joking around that "a good student would have come the day after the meet and done them for homework". I wanted to say "a better student would admit and fix that error that he made and would try to make it up before lunch", but I didn't think to. Besides, he was only joking.
-Went to Track and we got our results from the last two track meets. No ribbons yet, but hopefully some will come my direction in the future.
-Got a job to watch a friend's dog while he goes out to Utah until Monday evening.
-Went to this school event called "Ravenous Readers" to get my book project out of the way. I think it was perhaps the lamest thing I've ever been to, and I've been to some pretty lame things.
Well, this list will continue, but morning basketball is tomorrow. And so, adieu.

This week, nothing too big has happened, despite the fact that
gigiss and
bunge have been gone.
Mom and I got the bathroom painted. Or at least a couple coats. wOOt.
rugstar and his cousin came over on Monday to help me finish up with the backyard. We didn't get all of it done, but we did what we could and worked until the green trash cans were full.
Smokey's glaring at me as if to say, "Touch me and you die..." Probably because the Bug has "been casting spells at him".
Someone's interested in the bike, but will be gone until Monday so I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
I've bid on a Call of Duty 3 game for the Wii on eBay. I played it on my friend's PS2 and was thoroughly impressed, and that was on the PS2! So I imagined what it would be like to play it on the Wii, read some reviews, checked out some trailers, and made a bid. We'll see how long it takes before I get outbid. :P It's an interesting game; based on WWII. I enjoy anything having to do with that and since the Medal of Honor games, I haven't gotten one since. So it seems interesting and we'll see how that goes.
On top of that, I started a game on Wind Waker yesterday and I forgot how fun it is... O:)
Well, I'm bored. G'bye.

Well, Gigiss and Bunge are off and we wish them the best.
I sold my Rocker today on Craigslist. I had always done it wrong when I posted it and I had put it on about 5 times in the past with no response. I needed to confirm my posting and my mother pointed that out to me today. Less than two hours later, I received a phone call. He's picking it up on Monday for twenty-five bocks for lolos... er, no. Me.
On top of that, I put my old bike on Craigslist since I had grown out of. No response yet, but I'm not giving up hope.
Man, that raspberry crumble that mom just made sure gives me memories of the 50 miler... good memories. Almost exactly the same, just this time, we had some extra raspberries. Couldn't get a photo of it unfortunately, as it was scarffed down, but next time... next time...
I finished tearing of the wall paper in the bathroom. We intend to paint it before the campers come home. Mom started painting the ceiling so I had to take off the vent and I believe she finished. Wahoo.
I sewed on my Bugler patch onto my scout shirt finally and now I can tell Russ M.,"Yes! I have sewn on a patch to my scout shirt! And my mom didn't help at all! Shut up finally about it!"
Ah, crap! Someone just called about the bike and asked what kind of bike it was (boy or girl). Dang... They have a... girl... obviously...
Oh! I went to Grandpa's on Tuesday and we built the frames for the future decks. Got it all done in four hours, and we made sure it was square and that it wasn't going to fall apart. This, I must say, I am proud of. I've never done something like that and now I have some experience for our deck.
I love the music group Boston...
I suddenly have the urge to go backpacking. I want to go to somewhere this summer one more time, but seeing that school starts in three weeks, we'll see how realistic that is.
I am having an issue. And I need some advice, if you can spare any. Our family will be going to Utah while school is in session to see Beis off to his dorm and get his books, etc. But (depending what my schedule is for the upcoming year), I'll be missing three days of school and I'll be wiped out for one more. Missing a day of P.E. can lower my grade by a letter and a half and if I am missing two, it can fail me. Anyways, I'm trying to decide if I should go to Utah or just stay here. Bunge is going to be staying, but I don't have a ride to school, there and back. Anyways, anyone? Any advice? Please?
Mom got mad at me when I announced that I didn't think I could go since we suddenly changed the dates. I don't want to disappoint anyone and I most certainly want to go, but make-up for P.E. is twice as bad as it would be actually being in the class, and it is bad to be in class as is.
I'm just lost right now. I'm not sure what to do...

So. I've been going to work all this week and earning money. As of Thursday, we pulled out the entire deck, including the under part. I've been hauling all of the boards onto the side of the shop and making piles of them separating the types of wood into different piles.
I've been recently entranced about the poll feature on LJ. In
ds_wii, I've been posting plenty of polls and the cool thing about them is that they're active. Once someone sees one, they go straight to answer. And they're fun.
Summer is upon us and the weather really is hitting. Perhaps that is the reason why I get up at 6 in the morning to get ready for woik and leave by 7:30 to work since it is still relatively cold then. Anyhoo, we've been going swimming recently. It's nice to cool down, especially in the hottest part of the day.
Scouting goes well. I've been working on the Communications merit badge and
blue_rogue724 and I have yet to meet together to start working on Personal Fitness together.
I have a wart on my foot. It keeps on hurting when I walk. I... suppose none of you needed to hear that... right...?
I find it fun to re-accquaint myself with old friends, particularly
aldalatine on AIM. It's good to know that everything is going well and that she plans on attending summer classes for college this year, something I was completely unaware of.
Ah, well. Past my bed time, it is.

So the Laurels had a sleepover last night. We had fun watching HSR on my wii and youtube "talking cats". It was pretty fun.
----------------------
I played Twilight Princess again, beat it, and started a new game. I just transformed into a human for the second time. Yeah...
The D's came over tonight. Colt and I had fun exchanging DS game stuff with download play.
----------------------
I had to cut the potato vines on the side yard... again... Last week, I started it, but of course, didn't finish it since it's all the way along the back fence. Ugh...
----------------------
Got some homework. Should get started on that tomorrow and hopefully finish up my History magazine. All that's left is the cover. I hate the way my advertisement is so I'll probably have to fix that part of it. It's due on Tuesday. No school on Monday!!!
----------------------
I love the way my wii glows blue when something is sent over the internet. It is quite entrancing...
----------------------
Well, gotta go make my bed. Then to bed. G'night.
