Not too much has happened.
I was ordained a teacher last Sunday. :D
We've had practice all last week and a meet on Thursday for Track.
I've been attempting to record some songs on games from the Wii. We'll just say that that is still in progress.
So... yeah.

So, I think it's fair to say that this year's Christmas Tree Pick-up was officially the worst one ever, that I have encountered at least.
We've had it rain before when we're picking up tree, but nothing to this effect. It was pouring for more than half of the pick-up. We even saw some lightning flashes every now and then.
We had 23 trees to pick up. On average, we got about 3 trees per load and if we were crazy, we got 4, which, incidentally, happened quite often. We had to tie it down and/or use the saw to cut it in half though before we attempted such a feat.
We finished around 12:30. It is done.
Other than that, nothing else has really happened today. Went on a bike ride to Sholenberger... in the pouring rain...
I finished up my third song that I've created using the loops on Garageband. It's actually kinda fun to do something other than DS or Wii.
I also finished up an assignment for Algebra that we were supposed to finish over break today. It actually looks nice.
I'm disappointed, however, because I'm falling short of my resolution for the New Year to do homework the day it's assigned. I will be better about this.
Tomorrow, I will practice my trumpet, find my P.E. clothes that seem to have gone into hiding, and pretty much get everything ready to go back to school.

Whoo. Where to begin?
Thursday and Friday were the Elementary School tours. I had a demo on Friday and the Jazz played for two of the four concerts, both of which I soloed in. I'm grateful for opportunities like this that boost my confidence to the max and I've realized that it hasn't been so hard to do it anymore. It the short weeks that I have taken the class, I believe I have significantly gained something from it.
And as a result, I have plenty of make-up homework that I haven't quite started on that may in fact be due on Monday. Some of which I can't even start because I don't have and because I'm unaware of the assignment.
I feel guilty about this since I asked mom to force me to get my homework done on Saturday so I can fly free on Sunday. However, not that some of this should've taken precedence, I did have the Christmas Tree Flier Pick-Up Distribution this morning, which went well. We finished at 11:30.
I didn't really eat breakfast before, which was a huge mistake. I got a headache. Bunge's delicious 12:00 breakfast mess was a significant way to stall it, but only stall it. I tried to take my mind off of it, convincing myself that a glass of water is all that would be necessary. By 2, I was miserable. I went to the bathroom, desperately looking for some pain reliever and discovered that the ibuprofen was out, except for 2 gell caps. I can't swallow those without killing myself so I found some tylonel meltaways (Haha. Funny that.) and got in the tub.
I woke up later when mom announced she was going to run some errands, one of which included Gamestop. She asked if I wanted to go. I wanted to, but I felt rather sick even after the medication. However, Gigiss came in the the bottle of ibuprofen he had in his bag that he found and I swallowed one of those and went with her. It was gone by the time we reached the outlet malls.
We got Brain Age 2, my last Christmas present, at Gamestop. It's sad that I know about all of this, but hey. The new Fire Emblem game was for Wii and therefore is more expensive, even for Amazon. So I figured that since Brain Age is a 1-8 multiplayer game using one card, it'd be cool to get it.
We got back around 5:30. Most of the day gone.
I don't know what it was, but I was not up to doing homework at all. *sigh* Now I'm mad at myself for being so reckless.
I will gain progress on Algebra tonight- whether or not I finish it is still in question, but I will gain ground before I hit the sack.
It is 9:53. Time to get to work.

This is actually pretty cool. I'm on my Wii right now and they've finally made an update for it so you can use a USB keyboard with the Internet Channel. So it isn't taking me forever to type this entry. Yay!
So. Um...
Got Jazz Band stuff on Thursday, the meeting was on Wednesday. Signed up there and my audition date for that is on Thursday, 6 days. I'm nervous, but I'm a lot more confident about it now than I was last year. Or maybe it's because I found out that last year I kept on thinking that we had to do "all sorts of scales" and all this other stuff when we never really did. It was just a matter on transposing two blues scales and 4 other scales. Whoo. I'm such a dorkus. :B
That being said, Mr. K practically even said that I'm guaranteed on the Jazz Band. It's just he'll have to hunt me down if I choose not to do it. >_<
So, I'm determined to try this USB keyboard update thing on another website. So I am done typing.

Whew. I finally have the chance to actually post something.
Yes, I am alive and well. The drive here to Utah was very nice and even though we went thirteen hours, it didn't seem like that. Maybe it was because three hours was spent playing Wii on the way here (I taped the sensor bar to the 6" t.v. in our van. Hey, whatever works, right?). At least in my perspective, it wasn't too bad; can't speak for the drivers. :P
Speaking of, we plan on bringing the old Nintendo 64 back with us that we gave to our cousins as they now have a gamecube and Josh actually brought it up saying that he hasn't played it in about a year and a half and that he would willingly give it up. Man, Bomberman 64 is classic. We're gonna have to get Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie back along with Super Mario 64, since it was sold. EB games'll have 'em for $2, I bet.
I can tell that the level of anxiety has been growing since Beis is moving in tomorrow. It's gonna be weird not having him back home.
On top of that, we have been sleeping in the same room, in the basement in whatever room that is. We've got two air mattresses and wow. That thing is actually on the floor so it's not stifling like it is on the bunk back home!
Ugh. I'm thirsty. Time to satisfy my sudden quench.

So my Wii remote stopped working yesterday. I won't elaborate too much on it, but the scoop is that the cursor still appeared, but when I tried to do an action like swinging the remote to hit a tennis ball, it wouldn't respond. So I was getting frustrated; I had read the manuals, checked on Nintendo's website, emailed Nintendo, posted a forum on Nintendo, etc. It eventually got to the point where the only thing I could do was to call up Nintendo. So this was a big deal for me. I'm nervous because this is my first time doing this kind of thing. Soooo, I called up.
( Tech Issue. )
I was extremely anxious mainly because my game, Call of Duty 3 had come that day and I couldn't play it if I didn't have a remote.
beisbeis,
gigiss, and I went up to Sky camp, hiked a mile and a half (except Beis and I- we hiked about four miles as we went back to meet Gigiss) and spent the night there. We had a very interesting discussion on the stars, constellations, myths, supernovas, planets, stars, etc. It was really interesting. We didn't bother to put up the Mosquito netting and we just set down the tarp. It was interesting because it was really windy and cold, but while we were out gazing at night about the stars, the wind and cold didn't seem as extreme as it did when we headed off for the night. I was extremely pleased to see Sean H. there. I've never been on a camp out with him and it seemed as though we got to know each other somewhat better.
By the way, this was our last camping trip with just Gigiss, Beis, and I for at least a year.
We woke up and everyone decided that we weren't in the mood to hike from the campsite to the beach so we all hiked the mile and a half to the cars and drove there.
We had our combined youth activity at the beach so that was the main purpose of the camp out so we didn't have to drive and all of the young men- they would be with Derek so my mom would only have to worry about the young women and not any young men. She has been really stressed out this week. Unfortunately, Derek is an awesome young men's leader, but he has so much on his plate right now so this activity was shoved to my mom, and she wasn't too thrilled about that, especially since we had to finished up laying down the tile (we still have to grout). And this wasn't the first time that this has happened.
No pictures from me- Bunge'll post some, I'm sure... right...?
School starts on Wednesday. Orientation for me is on Tuesday. Better get back to the sleeping schedule.

So I bought a copy of Call of Duty 3 today on eBay. Surprisingly, no one tried to outbid me in the end. But I won it for $24.50 plus $6 for shipping so there's my rocker there.
Gigiss and I got the bathroom hardi board cut and in place with glue and screws holding it down today. It's good to finally have that done; now it's just a matter of running up to Home Depot, buying the three boxes or so of tile that we need and finishing it up. We'll see how long that takes.
I'm at the D's right now. Beisbeis is house sitting for them and I'm here just because. Yeah...
And with that, I'm off. Tahtah.

This week, nothing too big has happened, despite the fact that
gigiss and
bunge have been gone.
Mom and I got the bathroom painted. Or at least a couple coats. wOOt.
rugstar and his cousin came over on Monday to help me finish up with the backyard. We didn't get all of it done, but we did what we could and worked until the green trash cans were full.
Smokey's glaring at me as if to say, "Touch me and you die..." Probably because the Bug has "been casting spells at him".
Someone's interested in the bike, but will be gone until Monday so I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
I've bid on a Call of Duty 3 game for the Wii on eBay. I played it on my friend's PS2 and was thoroughly impressed, and that was on the PS2! So I imagined what it would be like to play it on the Wii, read some reviews, checked out some trailers, and made a bid. We'll see how long it takes before I get outbid. :P It's an interesting game; based on WWII. I enjoy anything having to do with that and since the Medal of Honor games, I haven't gotten one since. So it seems interesting and we'll see how that goes.
On top of that, I started a game on Wind Waker yesterday and I forgot how fun it is... O:)
Well, I'm bored. G'bye.

So today, Beisbeis, the Bugalet, my mother and I went to a birthday party for one of the Bug's school friends. It happened to be at Cal-Skate. It brought back plenty of memories. I used to be an awesome skater. Woot. Poor Bug though... he had a hard time grasping the concept of not walking and skating.

I ordered Excite Truck for Wii. It came today which was really fast for "media mail" shipping. Three days was all it took. Cudos to Half.com.
It's a crazy game and I will most likely be writing up a review for it in
ds_wii if you're interested. It requires you to be holding the Wiimote horizontally and moving it from side to side to steer. It's extremely sensitive though so you could get off slightly which could mess you up in the long run. It's very fun though and I'm glad I bought it. wOOt.

So the Laurels had a sleepover last night. We had fun watching HSR on my wii and youtube "talking cats". It was pretty fun.
----------------------
I played Twilight Princess again, beat it, and started a new game. I just transformed into a human for the second time. Yeah...
The D's came over tonight. Colt and I had fun exchanging DS game stuff with download play.
----------------------
I had to cut the potato vines on the side yard... again... Last week, I started it, but of course, didn't finish it since it's all the way along the back fence. Ugh...
----------------------
Got some homework. Should get started on that tomorrow and hopefully finish up my History magazine. All that's left is the cover. I hate the way my advertisement is so I'll probably have to fix that part of it. It's due on Tuesday. No school on Monday!!!
----------------------
I love the way my wii glows blue when something is sent over the internet. It is quite entrancing...
----------------------
Well, gotta go make my bed. Then to bed. G'night.

So yesterday, I downloaded some games from the Virtual Console feature on my Wii. I downloaded The Legend Of Zelda (1987) from the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and Super Mario Brothers (1985) from the NES each costing 500 Wii Points totaling to $10. I was kinda disappointed because you can only purchase Wii Points in packs of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, or 5,000. Therefore, I was only planning on spending $5 (500 points) and just getting the Zelda game, but I couldn't purchase another game so I decided to spend it.
The next game I want to download is Star Fox 64 (1,000 points) for the N64 (Nintendo 64) when it comes available for download (it is put on the waiting list and is soon to be released for the Virtual Console).

Today's the last day of break. Tomorrow's a "C" day. Ugh... I hate "C" days.

I am about 98% done to getting my Wii. I just need to memorize these fingerprint "subcatigories". As soon as I finish that, my mother just needs to approve that and then Santa owes me an I.O.U. since all the Wiis are outta stock.
I signed off Music today with Connie A. Yessssssss...
And better yet, we did NOTHING today for Finals, except for doing a map for History and watching Jurassic Park III for Band along with donuts. And today was the last day o' school. Woot!
